Default New Car

Alright, so it's senior year of high school and time to get a new ride. But since i worked the whole previous year, i had a nice little bit to spend.
So i go to ebay and i find a 02' Silver Mustang Coupe V6 with about 66K on it for $5500!!!!

So that's what i started with. I have put the Euro tailights on it, had crome detailing done to the air intake, the "mustang" logo on the bumper has chrome lettering, and i had 232 put in chrome on the back. my 3rd tailight says "mustang" i bought the 06' GT rims, got the smoke headlights, and have dual turbo-tip exhaust kit. The interior was all black, but i decided i wanted to have a 2 tone, so i painted all the removable parts silver, so i have a black base with silver on top (looks nice). And since i'm a kid and i like the loud music, i have 2 12" W3 JL subs with a 1100watt Kenwood 2-channel amp powering them.

Now here's where you fellas come in to play. Which should i do next: get my head unit, get tint done (thinking about going with 15 all around), get my 6x9's and amp (friends selling them to me with a 250 watt amp for $100), or go for the hi's (tweeters)?

Thanks in advance for your input.

yeah, i thought about that, but KBB has my car at 9,800 i think, and everything i'm putting into it can be taken out other than the tint and exhaust.
i have money saved, but i like my mustang, so i figured i'd go all out with it. i'm planning on keeping the car for 2 or 3 years, and i like to ride around clean, so until i'm 18 and actually have credit, this is the only car i'm keeping.

really up to you, i'd personally get a new HU before trying to get the rest of the system up

btw can u take some pics of the interior of your car and pm them to me. im trying to convince my buddy to paint the inside of his silver 00 gt because his interior is 100% stock black (EVERYTHING in there is black and it makes it not extremely plain)

nice job on the paint.

im not your dad, the wise thing to do is save your money (or atleast some of it). but in reguards to the second comment of course not. your LUCKY to get anywhere close to what you invest in a car when you re-sell it. thats why you can buy cars with THOUSANDS of dollars in upgrades for average mustang prices.

yeah, i was thinking about just saving up, but i want to have the FRESHEST car out there, and there's a lot of competition down here...trust me.

and the reason why i'm so willing to put out for the sound is all the sound i put in the car can be taken out and put in the next car i get.

trust me, the FRESHEST foundation isnt a v6 new edge. im not ripping, or trying to be a **** but im just saying that if you wanted to be the most amazing or unique thats not a real good start. but ive seen somecivics i would trade in a second for my fox

oh man, you think that now you just wait until its that time! its such a bi+ch putting stuff into the car, imagine taking it out and then restoring it to factory specs without being able to tell it never was touched.
i agree, the paint looks good.
if it was me, i would consider my options.
