Ive got 2 MTX Thunder 8000. Im told they will be really loud in my stang. Anyone have any experience with this sub? I dont want to put some in thats too loud to hear my music.

 

General comments like "These will pound in your car!" are garbage. It is all about proper tuning and setup. If you ask around here for a little guidance in setting them up, they will be fine. P, or ttocs or seight or Hiss will come aorund and lend you some guidance. I have an idea, but don't want to lead you astray. Do you have an amp? A sub box? If you do what brand, type, etc? Is it installed yet? Then we can get you some where.

Also, what type of music do you listen too.

If you do not have that equipment Joey mentioned, what is your budget?

 

pyles will be loud in a stang.
duals will be loud in a stang. well actually duals will blow before you install them
anyway, the mtx stuff is OK but id look into mbquart or ma stuff if you only can get the 8000 stuff.
and elemental designs has made me a believer.. so if youre feeling funky..

 

i have the MTX 7500 and it sounds good not all complete in my install yet.. for ideas u can check out my build its called "trunk setup build". They also sound good to all types of music like rap to country.

 

thats what i listen to basically is either rap or country. money is no issue. they are in an r/t box. it feels like a ****ing brick wall! amp wise ive got multipe 1000 watters all mono tho. should i get a bigger amp? when they were on a 1200 watt sony xplode amp they sounded real good

 

Mono is what you want. What's an r/t box? What are the ratings on the subs?

 

Are you telling me you have an unlimited budget? I was hoping to keep in under $1000.Do you want to keep your rear seat?

Sony amps are complete garbage and would only make 1000 watts if stuck by lightening.

 

well i want to keep my rear seat and id like to keep it under a grand but yes im saying money doesnt matter but obviously i dont plan on going and buying to w7s to put back there

 

ok well u will need to get a new bigger and not sony amp mono. Those that keep going into a post and telling some1 to basically throught the subs that they have out and go buy a all new and more expensive high end 1 stop. People like what they like but telling some1 so sell there sony is just help cuz sony has terrible c/s and sucky products. ok im done.
