what sub box
Well it all depens, first of all a sealed box will give you a tighter sounding bass, getting a vented will give you a boomier bass, yet sealed box's are easier to fit into small areas since they don't require as much room, where the other box's have to be larger. If your not worried about space build a vented box, i have seen some cases where 7-10db's can be gained. Thats a big difference.
I would suggest you go to the MTX website link below and find your subs part number. They give you all the specs and recommendations for the box size and type for your subs.

Sealed! I have a tendency to tailor the system for what it sounds like inside. Ironically, the more power you put to a sub in an enclosed box, the shallower it should be. I have a single 10" sub in a box that's 13 x 13 x 8 inside dimensions and run 150 continuous rms (multiply that by about 5 for peak). Ported will certainly add loudness, but I'm looking for decent music reproduction.
