TC sounds/Audio Pulse
Hi, was looking for some opinions on these subs. I looked through their website and they look solid from what one can gather from a website alone. I have never had the opportunity to hear any good subs in person so I'm trying to gather data any other way I can. How do you think the quality has changed (if at all) by going to audio pulse? I dont know if that means they were bought out by another company or what, as I didn't see anything on their website. Also, how would you compare them to other subs that I have heard you guys say good things about such as eD and Fi subs?
I tried to use the search feature but no such luck.

The looks of their 2-"higher end"woofers remind me of Power Acoustik, which is not a good thing, their EPIC woofer reminds me of classic Adire and RE cast aluminum baskets which is a good thing. And seeing the Planar technology their using, is pretty cool. But you cant take one thing from a company and say all their stuff is good. With the tech I see them using and working with PR's and everything elseI see on the site, things look decent. I haven't heard much from them as far as in person nor from any other enthusiasts I talk to frequently I cannot say much other than what I see looks decent and I kinda want to check them out myself.
As far as what is good out their, im an eD nut, but it's not for everybody. If you've got the $$$ theres some better stuff out there, if you have very little $$$ we cant get you into somethings that not going to be the quality you can get from eD for the price but for what your paying for it you should be very pleased. Anyway giving us information like your budget, what car its going into, what music you like, how much room you have or how much room your willing to compromise in your trunk, how install capable you are... Just a general feel of what you are looking for and what you want to do, and what your wanting in the end is info we'll need before we can start shouting out suggestions like your asking what the best kind of beer is...

Wow, thanks for the great info. I'm just trying to do research right now so in the future when I have more money I will know what I want (and also not to buy sony subwoofers) and things like that. I guess you could say I am preventing accidents before they happen. My budget would be around $1000 for the whole setup, and itwould go into a normal 4 dr car. I listen to rap music mainly, but also rock out to some metal every once in a while. I don't care about trunk space, and my install experience is limited but I plan to do 100% of it. I figure if i can build a computer by reading a book how, I can do this myself too.
eD looks really cool. I really like the 13Av.2, butI'm still not sure as to how to put a setup together around that, or that it will fit into my budget. I read a great review of the place when someone visited there then posted about it here. Any suggestionsat all from anyone are greatly appreciated.

I dealt with tc sounds when it was tc sounds I don't know what happened but I am pretty sure it's the same company they still have the same drivers they are just different color baskets and cones. They are excellent. I have a 12" tc-1000 thats still brand new in box I am trying to get rid of because I decided away from the bass in my already slow and heavy mustang. So If anyone is interested...
But honestly give them a call and see what the deal is. They still sell direct too.
