Default What to buy? Help

I know nothing about systems, so thats why I'm posting this.
Im going to ask for subs/amp for christmas.

What are someideas on what I should get? I dont want my parents to spend a ton of money and I dont need anything really big. Maybe just one sub would be okay? But I still have no idea where to even start. ---And I mostly listen to rap & country.

Budget would be a huge help.

Most people looking to install subs and amp are shooting for under $500. Here is an idea for under $350.

Build your own box, do your own install. Save $$$$$$.
Don't forget you will also need a wiring kit, and an LOC (line out converter) if you have a stock head unit.

Under $350
eD 13Ov.2 subwoofer $175
or
eD 11Ov.2 subwoofer $155
or
(2) eD 9kv.2 subwoofers $150

Profile AP1200 amplifier $155

If you have any capability with cutting, drilling and gluing wood, we can get you blueprints for a box. I have a write up to guide you with the install too. Feel free to ask questions! Whatever you do, STAY OUT OF BB and CC

Any other ideas fellas?
