the subs or the tweets? yes they can but you have to match the factory speaker impedence. The subs are an 8 ohm 5 x 7 woofer and the tweets are a 3 inch, 4 ohm. Parts express has a bunch of models that should match, you will have a little more of a selection with a 6.5 inch woofer and with a baffle if will fit.

You're going to laugh, but I'm not even remotely joking about this.. Get a pair of these for the front doors and call it a day:

Very nice speakers, especially for $5.

(Note: I have 20 pairs in my garage, because I love them.)

You can use that speaker if you replace the head unit. Not sayin they would be in my car but it is probably better then the stock speaker.

Think what you want, but they're absolutely sick.

One of my friends is powering two pairs off of a Hifonics Zeus VIII (yeah, 225 watts per speaker) and they love it.

Myself, I've got a pair in my Mustang and a pair in my Expedition.

I use a Hifonics Gemini VI to power each set, running active. I'm just sending a mere 50W to each driver (I hacked off the connector and ran everything active from my Alpine CDA-7998 headunit).

I have enough treble and GOOD midbass to keep up with my 15" Digital Designs 9515f subwoofer in a 4.5cuft box, ported at 40hz (in my Expedition). I've got an Arc Audio 2500CXL powering it (1050x1@4ohm).

Think what you want about those speakers, and you can say I know nothing, but you haven't got a clue.

I say buy 'em (what's $10? I'll buy em to try em...) and let us know what you think and get a second opinion on them...

If you buy them and like them, cool. If you buy them and don't like them, you're nuts. :P

I had a hard time believing it, too, but I bought 25 pairs (at $2.50 per speaker) and I'm absolutely thrilled that I did.
