factory navigation screen on s197
hello everyone, new here and had a question.
i'm currently buying a new gt and was just compiling a list of options that i want to add on the car.
first off, is the optional navigation touchscreen any good or should i just stick with an aftermarket?
secondly, what are the best options to add?
thanks for your input.

i'm ok with the shaker 500 as of right now. i'm more excited just to get the car and start driving, but was just wondering if the factory nav screen was any good or worth it.
I am not big on indash nav systems to be honest but that is because where I live in phoenix was nothing but farm fields a year or two ago. Upgrading it as often as I would need to(my community outpaced Vegas for 3 years to be the fastest growing in the nation) would be a pia so I use my verizon wireless phone when I need to as it is updated regularly.
My only real concern is that ford has not made a descent radio that will last more then say 5-7 yrs. They are junk as far as longevity is concerned and while I would love to think they worked out all the previous problems they have(do a search on here for disc jamming) but I am willing to bet that they just added a totally new set of problems on top of the old ones.

def. go aftermarket, for the 1,995 ford wants you can get something like these
Eclipse 5500
Eclipse 5510
Eclipse 6610
Pioneer AVIC-D3
Pioneer AVIC-Z2
all those are currently under $2k and have bluetooth, satellite radio, DVD playback, and iPod Control expandability
