I have a wire ran from my amp up to my center console for the Remote turn on wire. Theirs no place to put it in the back of the headunit. Do i wire it into the harness? If so what color wire do i wire into

if the headunit is an aftermarket one, should be a wire for remote turn on. It is usually a blue wire. Otherwise, you can just hook it up to a switch or something that turns on when the key is on.

Let us know what kind of headunit you have.

Doesn't matter what kind of headunit it is.

Its blue, sometimes blue with white stripe.

Yes, re-cap it also. Please don't twist and tape them, thats a problem waiting to happen.

What do you mean wiring diagram? For two wires???

DECK|------Blue Wire---------- CAP -------Remote Wire------------|AMP

There you go, a diagram for you to connect 2 wires.

were are you getting your signal for the loc? sounds like you hit the tweeter wires instead of the woofers.

that might have been what it was...but i gave up. i went and bought a new headunit so i can just hook into the rca's in that rather than going splicing into too many wires tryin to figure it out. but i got a jensen headunit with the 7" touch screen and i got it out of the box....it also comes with a media module...so now all i have to do is figure this thing out and i will be good....do you know the wiring diagram for a 2003 gt with the mach system? because i cant find a adapter that fits my car, i tryed about 3 different ford adapters...and no one has one for my specific car
