even professional places mess up sometimes, if the remote was hooked up correclty it would turn the amp off [thus your batt wouldn't die]

you should go back and tell them the problem and ask if they'll fix it for free since it's their mess-up.

Hook up a multimeter to your battery, start pulling fuses and see when the draw is around .005 -.010 (Normal Range). Once you figure out which section of your electrical system is drawing after the car is off, check your chilton see where its coming from and keep testing with your mulitmeter until you pinpoint it, go from there.

if your amp is not turning off then that is what is draining your battery. If you paid a place to put it in then simply take it back and tell them, don't get yer goey little fingers in it if you didn't install it as you may void your install warrenty on the amp.
