Good luck with your set up. And post pics when done. I am treading lightly. When ever you ask questions not only give the amp and type of vehicle. Also give other info for example is vehicle stereo totally stock or do you have a aftermarket HU already installed. Most important budget and what type of sound you are looking for.

true and correct? well lets see. the only 2 things i have tried to make a point of are 1. JL W6v2 subs are a great SQ choice. and 2. Solo baric subs can get plenty loud, suck for sq, and would not be a good choice for a sealed application. those my friend, are true and correct statements. i dont get why you are arguing either of those?
but i was also trying to stay on topic and ask the OP to give us more information because I dont like blindly recomending subs that are not going to be designed for what he is using them for. and he still hasnt replied with the info i asked, so i refuse to tell him to go buy something that might not be right for him.

I remembered you 850sn95. We will try to get you what you have wanted all along.
Two good but inexpensive 12's in a proper box will blow away a single JLW6. With that amp we can make some recommendations for 250-300 watt subs if you would like. I just picked up two decvent 12's for $35 shipped to my door brand new, but you can't buy them anymore!!! If this is going in the back of an impala why don't you let us throw a couple 15's back there if you have the room.

Heck yea I have the room for a couple 15's that's what I really wanted to get but I wasn't ready to buy another amp just yet cause I barely even got to use my 500/1 amp so should I guess the question is EXACTLY what sub in that 250-300 wattage range would be the best for me and let's try to stay around 150ish per sub

Could you give me some rough dimensions of how big of a box we can put in the trunk?
The box size will determine what kind of setup would be best. (sealed versus ported)
