Default powered bazooka subs?

anyone here running those 12 inch powered bazooka subs?
I want to get a system but don't want to get big box 12s or really put too much money into it,
I figure..if it does get stolen I would rather have a clean steal then them having to rip shiet apart in the car or take longer then needed and begin to spot other things and take them as well lol.

plus those little subs are pretty convenient,a co-worker had two 10 bazooka tubes they thumped for how small the enclosure was ..not that deep resonating bass but it hit pretty hard.

A friend of mine had a 12" one in the back of her car (not a mustang) and it works pretty well. Doesn't take up much room and hits hard enough to be considered bass. If you're looking for POUNDING, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a nice bump in bass, go for it.

It hits pretty hard for what it is.

http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshow...mp;ctab=2#Tabs $65
http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=268-352 $14
Sheet of MDF at local hardware store $20

Click on project ideason the subwoofers page and take some measurements, spend a saturday afternoon and build a box for it. Cheap, loud for what it is, and sounds much better than any tube will.

Kind of amp you planning on using? Or already have...

I have always liked both bazooka's(SAS) and the basslink as I have owned both for quick and easy systems.
