I recently purchased a iPod adapter from an online store. It is a PAC IPOD-OEM2 and it would work for like 2 weeks and then clear my CANbus and I would have to disconnect my battery. I talked to the manufacturer and they told me to take it out of the car. Then I talked to the place I purchased it from and they said they would exchange it for me for free. So I sent it to them and told them to just send me whichever adapter they thought would work best. So they sent my a scouche adapter. I was in my car setting it all up when it cleared the CANbus again. It said "Oil pressure low, Parking brake on, etc..." So then I unplugged it and my CANbus came back on and was working fine. So I tried it again just to make sure and it caused the problem again. So now I am wondering what I need to do to get this working. Do I just have bad luck or do all the iPod adapters for the CANbus system not work right or something. Anyone have any ideas for me? Thank you.
