Speaker Clicking Noise
Alright, I know this IS NOT Feedback as i had that problem with my last car. I am running the stock factory system (2007 Stang), the top speaker in the drivers side door, NOT lower speaker, makes clicking noises randomly throughout each song on my cds, also does it running radio as well. Music IS coming out of the speaker. Obviously it doesnt do it when i have it real low, but once i have it at or over five full volume bars i can hear it. I had the dealership check out that door rattling noise a few months ago and they said they probably had to take the door panels off. Therefore I either think they may have accidently damaged the speaker or the clip/connector that connects the wires from the speaker to the system is lose therefore whenever the BASE or whatever picks up the sound waves push the clip into the door panel. Anyone know/have any ideas? I'd appreciate it.
I thought i was the only one who had this problem. I am running a Shaker500 system in my 07. I just figured that i had the bass to loud and bust my passenger side speaker. I plan on replacing my door speakers next week hopefully they are just blown.
ford stereos have always been crap for reliabitity. If you are lucky they last till just after the warrenty craps out....
Sounds like a loose connection, I would hit up yer dealer.......

Yeah but the funny part is i don't have the bass all the way up all of those settings are sitting on the factory settings (default settings). I dont have my system up full blast either I only play it no higher than 6 full volume bars.
