Default sticky for the site

I have a how-to on converting the 00-04 mach 1 tweeters to work with a aftermarket setup. This makes it so they only play the highs and not the bass. This makes it sound so much better and i wanted to share.

Parts list:

*wire strippers
*soldering gun
*radioshack electrolytic capacitor (#272-999)
*soldering flux
*heat shrink
*extra wire

Lets start:

this is what we will be working on.

remove the cover and then unscrew the tweeter.

after unscrewing the 2 screws this is what u will wined up with.

More to come...

accually i do not see this anywhere on your cardomain site. your how-to is all about how to install a head unit. Mine is all about how to convert the mach 1 door tweeters to play like tweeters not regular speakers.

Something new here.

right I don't show the caps, tell them to get a soldering iron or how to connect them but I do mention about putting caps inline in the bypass hrns that the deck is wired to.

I'm not knocking ya, more is better!

Or you could just get bass blockers at Circuit City or best buy. Problem solved

Because dude, bass blockers sounds so much cooler than an inline capacitor.

And they generally have a cooler sticker on the side. Something you wont find on your stupid little capacitors. Probably why they cost $10 more.

Why not just buy components and have better sound WITH crossovers. No bass blockers or inline cap. needed.
