Default mach 460

in my 97 cobra i have the mach 460 i bought the car with a aftermarket cd player. everything works but the door door speakers 6x8s?? the tweeters behind the mirror work so im not whats up. i have a cut wirehttp://www.cardomain.com/ride/2943430 but i cant find any wire diagram for it. i am almost positive this harness is for the stereo because the wire has the thick grey insulator cover that the harns. behind the head unit have.this harness isto the left of the drivers seat, you have to takeall the plastic trim pieces off to see it.any help would be great. ive looked everywhere!

that hrns may be it but first we need to make sure nothing simple was missed. A common err for beginner installers in the mach system is that they do not hook up the blue remote turn on wire from the deck to the blue amp turn wire on the factory hrns. The tweeters play off of deck power and the subs get their signal from the same place. The sub amps probably just need to be turned on. Also look for a black with a white stripe on the factory hrns and make sure it is grounded, it is the amp ground.

have you checked fuses? There are a couple of fuses that can effect the premium sound system so before you ask me which one CHECK THEM ALL both under the hood by the batt as well as under the dash. circuits are often tapped off of one another and linked so it is funny how sometime your sub amp will quit and it is the turn signal fuse that blew. It will take less time to pull each one and phisically look at it or test each one with a meter then it will to try and find the right section in your manual.

Have you tested the remote turm on from the decks output with a meter?

all my fuses are fine, does one amp only run the two door speakers? Could i just bypass the amp and hard wire from the cd player to the both door speakers? If so which wires do i connect to the speaker harness? How much sound quality would i loose?
