i haven't bought a new deck im planning on it soon im just tryin to figure out everything 1st ....like what i should buy and how much is it all going to cost
Mach Systems suck Visteon can't make speakers, their seats are pretty darn uncomfortable too while im at it, yes that will work, no, not very well, your better off replacing everything but if you only have the cash to get the new headunit, your gonna need a cupple line converters (convert speaker wire to RCA and vice versa) just splice the line outs into the amps inputs (ya need to figure out which wires go to the amp), throw on a few y splitters and hook up to the pre amp outputs on the new headunit. Line outs arent more that 10 bucks each (5-7 bucks at a good shop) but ive seen them for 30 so shop around so you dont get ripped off. BTW, a good audio shop could take care of this for ya in under an hour. ONE MORE THING, make sure to get line outs that go both ways. Alot of them have diodes in them so the signal only goes from the speaker wire side to the RCA side, to do what you need to do you need to opposite of that. Hope this helps, GOOD LUCK!!!
