Default Does this sound right????

Ok, I have a 2002 GT and looking to get a system on a budget. I was hoping to do this in parts, like do the stereo, then amps, then sub. Right now it is all stock except I have Pioneer speakers, I was wondering if I get an amp, and stereo how to hook it up. Now I would like to still use the Mach 460 tweeters, so by my understanding I can wire up the tweeters to the speaker outs(the bare wires coming out of the H/U) and then run the pioneer speakers off a 4 channel amp running off the pre-amp RCA outputs from the H/U, and then eventually a separate sub off the sub out put from the H/U to a sub/amp setup. Does this sound right, or I won't be able to use the tweters? PLease help!!

What are the pioneer speakers? Do you have a model number? If they are coax's, you don't need the tweeters ( I would get rid of them, but it is up to you).

the way you described it does sound correct for what you want to do.

these are the products i would purchase with your budget

H/U -

Amp for Front Stage -

hahahaha that b-stock is going to be awesome!

It's a NINe.4. it will give you 4 x 65 @ 4 ohmsat 12.5 V (most likely a little more than that) and will give you a great setup if you go with components ( which i think you should do) with 2 x 150 @ 4 ohms at 12.5 V. I think normally the amp is $245. I have a couple b-stock items from eD and haven't hadan issue in just about7 months. generally it is only something cosmetic that is wrong with it.
