Hi guys - has anyone replaced their stock speakers and kept the stock Shaker 500/1000 HU?

How do they sound compared to stock?

Yup, I did. Noticeably better, but there's definitely more room for improvement..

you will need to be carefull if you keep the stock deck as the factory woofers are an 8 ohm woofer and most aftermarket speakers are a 4 ohm full range driver. Not sure what kind of speakers he used, or if the factory deck was still in there. Putting in a new deck will make things sound better.
