then it sounds as though your dual did not last as long as you had hoped. If your car has enough juice to crank the starter it should have enough to keep the radios memory.

You can test this with a set of jumper cables if you want to test the battery test. Hook them up to another good battery or car and do your test again to see if it looses its memory.
