I thought i measured almost 14 inches from floor to lowest point.

I think so....double check. Measure the middle, and the sides of where the back of the trunk meets the trunk lid. I'm pretty sure i got something like 13.5 or 14.

13.5" at highest point and it gradually goes down to 12 ish

so should fit :-)

It's a PITA to get my box in and out of the trunk, and it's got 2 10" subs in it - I'll have to measure to get the exact specs, but it goes from the trunk floor (spare tire cover board) to the roof, and has about a 1/2" or 1/4" of clearance, height-wise. I've got a 2004 GT Vert, w/Mach (well, it *used* to have Mach 460 audio )

Yeah, that's my reasoning too ... there's no way I'm getting to my spare. Now, if I fab separate boxes out of fiberglass to go on each side of the trunk, then that's a different story
