yea, cuz alot of SPL competitors don't use solo-X's at all...

and i understood why you called it a best buy sub.

and lane, a solo-x will be a really doggy sub unless you put alot of power to it. it would be like the throttle response of a 250kmi 80's camry [>:]

I was 157 with two Mojo 15" with 1100 watts to each.

Let's see two solo x 15" drivers with 1100 a piece do that.

Edit: In my daily driver/ non-cemented/sandbagged / non-walled off/ non bass tunnelled/ 95 4-runner which rattled like all hell was breaking loose on Earth.

k, but i don't think the MOJO can handle near as much power as a Solo-X can.

and im about to start a 86 4-runner project with my friend[8D]. we're gonna do a system next, we've already chopped the top off and put a soft top on it, and put 36'ers on her. we're thinking about a engine swap too, but dunno if we wanna get into that.

 

Because they are rediculously power hungry, and who cares how much power it can handle, they aren't that loud for what you'd be paying for them.

Thats like having a rear end that can handle 1200 hp, with a stock motor, and putting it up against a well rounded 500 hp car with a rear end built to handle say 650. Who cares what kind of head way you have when your never going to use it because you can't afford 10 $1000 amplifiers.

 

most people who buy the Solo-X have plans on buying those amps though. i agree, it isn't a every day sub, but deffently a competition sub.

I have never heard anyone refer to anything kicker makes without preceding it with comp........

I have never owned anything made by them, on purpose.

 

Nice install, but you must live in a nice area. I'd be worried about theft.
