Default System Affect your car?

Alright this might sound dumb but a car dealer told me this ...He said "if you put a system in your mustang it will rattle the car so much and the bolts will come loose because they dont tighten all the bolts.." something to that effect. I kinda want to put a system in but i want to know how true this is...by the way i have an 08 mustang gt and i didnt buy from this dealer. Please let me know casue this is a serious question. Thanks

yes putting subs in you car can and will rattle thing loose. The vibrations from the bass will make your trunk, license plate, dash, and other various parts rattle and you may get some loosened interior bolt/screws but the important stuff, suspension, engine, and drive train bolts are tight enough to handle road and motor vibrations so your system wont rattle them loose.

A way to stop some of the ratteling is Dynamat as far as your liscence plate and other things, but if you are worried about it just put in 1 sub, you dont have to have a huge system. I reccomend JL audios stealth box for you it is custom made for your car and ive heard 3 different stealth boxes from Jl Audio and they all sounded amazing ! Ive had up to 4 subs in my suv before and it has never caused a problem.

yup, one day when you crank the bass up to 10, the wheels and doors will fall off, the hood will fly up. At that point the check engine light will come on, and start a fire after only a couple of seconds that will ignite the gas tank and explode. There is a tech-note on it. I swear, go look it up.... My uncles brothers sisters boyfriends brother in law knows this guy, that saw the dude that cuts the lawn at a ford dealership told him.

Putting a system in any car will cause things to rattle. Some cars are worse then others but a mustang is still fixable, unlike a neon. There are many forms of sound damping(not dampening) available such as 2nd skin, dynamat.

let me say that the fact that a system will make a car fall apart is the dumbest thing ive ever heard. you know that guy certainly doesnt have a system and probably doesnt know anyone who does, so how would he know? ignore him.
