Pioneer 8" shallow mount in doors?
Ive seen a few people running the 8" Rockford's in the doors, but while looking around, I found that pioneer makes their shallow mount subwoofer in an 8". I put 2 10" shallow mounts in my buddy's F150, and was blown away at how good they sound. I figured they might work well in the doors. Any ideas?
I'm starting to think no one in MF has replaced their door subs due to the zero amount of responses to multiple threads asking these exact same types of questions.

This is not as easy as a swap out that would allow it to be a diy for the average audio guy. To do it properly you will need to ensure a solid mount to keep it in place if yer girl gets pissed and slams it. It would also require some kind of enclosure to get it to sound perfect, I built some for my 6.5's in my door(page6 er 7 of my cardomain page). I know I could get it to fit and look good but have not found anyone in my club or around phoenix that wants to do it yet. I would love to try and find an easy way to make that UGLY azz grill look better as it would be an easy way to sell a million of them. I have not found anyone that likes the way they look stock......
