sorry still rule #1. problem is amp's are not intended to take the abuse and the vibrations that it will encounter when bolted to a box its comon sence. If u have a half *** system that lacks any tru spl then u might never have a problem. But hey its ur amps not mine. But i can think of a thousand other things i could do with the 1000$ i might have to spend to replace my amp.

Pls dont come back with my friends friend has a solo x with 4 7kd's bolted to the box and he's never replaced his amps cause ull be full of chit. What i say is tru belive it or not.

too many little pieces moving around that are not supposed to be moving around. Also leaves opportunity for leakage, less security for equipment, and i don't think it is possible to make it look nice any way you do it if it is on the box. (wow, 6 two letter words in a row.....)

Thanks for the info joey

I don't know whats up your *** disturbed, but thanks for adding to my "comon sence", though I think you severely damaged my reading comprehension and vocabulary. I'll be sure to take my half-*** system without "tru spl" and see if i can do something else with the amp. Maybe leave out the insults the next time someone asks for information, or simply provide the information without randomly blurting things out and not explaining.

and "plz dun come bak with its onnly teh interwebz spellng dunt make ne cents"

I wouldnt mind so much if your posts made sense or had any relevant information.

I never claimed/said that I have done multiple systems, ever. Please learn to read. And for the record, this is the second system I've "wired" and the first box I had installed by someone else (who also mounted the amp for me). So I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to this stuff.

As for luckydawg, did you still want those dimensions?

Ya man I still want the dimensions? The outside dimensions will be fine, Thanks. As far as mounting the amps to the back of the box it will be fine. The car vibrates anyways...and the subs hitting will vibrate the amps no matter where they are located so I doubt its gonna damage them anymore than placing them on the back of a box.
