Default custom work done hows it look?

so i was broke and looking for some things to do to my car since the weather got nice here in chicago. heres what i came up with tell me what you all think about them.

1. made my grill silver
2. made the locks on the door silver(the lock itself not the botton to lock and unlock no pic)
3. covered the tweeters on my door silver instead of black
4. made a custom rear seat delete.
5. made some hoose go from under the car to next to the air intake for some extra air

all told i think a spent maybe $75 give or take. tell me what you think and if you have any ideas for more to do let me know thanks.

The rear seat delete looks good.

That hose has got to get you at least 15 hp in ricer terms......

Seriously, get rid of the heater hose, it provides no additional air flow and will shoot water into the filter if the other ends are ever submerged when driving quickly in the rain.

thanks about the rear seat

i dont plan on driving in 4 inches of water to much though. and im not trying to get 15 hp with them lol but yes any extra air will help the car breath better. its like a heart the easyer it is for it to pump in and out air the better it will run. im not looking for real hp gains just a little easyer time using the horses i already have.

1. not too bad
2. the paint will wear off
3. if you had done it right and re-covered the grill with silver cloth material then maybe....
4. looks good, looks real good....
5. looks bad, really really bad.

take it easy with the paint(both sniffing it and painting things with it) and like he said take off the hoses, you will one day look back at that idea and frown.

As a mechanical engineer, I can assure you that that hose does nothing.

The heart is a closed loop pump and is in no way comparible to the intake filter of a car. Your filter draws the air in directly next to it and the energy required to overcome the friction and curves in the hose will destory an momentum that would stand any chance of making its way into the filter.

Just remove before the next person that opens your hood laughs out of control.

+1 on the useless hoses...maybe if you had a wider opening for the air to go into rather than a 3/4" inside diameter...the backseat delete looks sweeeet i like it...was it hard to take the seats off?.... about the speakers grilles, i would so do it if i didnt have a tan interior...but good job bro you made your ride different than the millions of mustangs out there
