Right now I have 2 12" Kicker CVR subs in my trunk (RMS 400 PEAK 800 each) with a 1400 watt 2 channel soundstorm amp. Since the amp is a 2 channel, it isn't exactly right for subs. I have it wired so my subs are at like half power so my amp doesn't fry.

So what I am trying to decide on is whether I should sell my subs and amp for $350 to one of my friends, or buy a new amp (Kicker ZX750.1 - 750 RMS 1500 PEAK). If I sold them, I would put the money towards other stuff for my car like appearance mods or the CAI/tune. I can't decide what to do, so your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

You don't have a CAI/tune yet?? Man... you need to hop on that quick. It makes your car feel like a whole different car. I can't live without both the cai/tune or the sound system. But I say sell it for now and get the cai and tune

 

Yeah well the thing is that I got it for a really good deal, and if I sold it all for 350 I would be making money and I wouldn't be able to come across a deal like this again. I think I might just keep it all for now and then just save up for the CAI and tune and then buy a new amp.

 

there is nothing wrong with a stereo sub amp, other then this one is made by soundstorm.

Wow i guess my 2000x wasent meant to push subs "2channel amp for those who dont know". The person who told u that was a complete fool. Before class d amps were created what do u think they usedto powersubs???

 

That kicker amp would be great for those subs, just sellyour oldamp. I havepowering 2 12' Kicker L5's (600 rms; 1200peak)and it hits pretty hard.
