Default Speaker Molds

Forgive me if I slaughter the vernacularon this, but a week or two back I saw speaker molding that could be installed on the door (door frame?) and sported support of 6x6 speakers in that location. The speaker would be located in the lower corner of the frame and external of the door. I am trying to locate these again (and if anyone can enlighten me as to the correct terminology on this I would be grateful) but can not remember which of the online vendors in the forum carried them. I am not sure what I should detail here that would help in identifying them and their location.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I made mine and added some enclosuresso I am not sure where to get them. What you are looking for is commonly refered to as a 5 x 7 to 6.5 baffle.

I saw the instructions for making them by I think this is a lil beyond the scope of my abilities. I can do pottery so if you want them made from glazed clay, I'm all over it. Otherwise, it gets scary.

It's called a 5x7 to 6.5 baffle? Gotta write that one down on a post-it.

yeah you can make it or try scosche's or metra's website they make a bracket that will take the 5x7(6x8) to a 6 1/2" hole (it jsut made out of some ABS plastic, but will do the job) they should cost more than 20-30 bucks. Some of the manf. are putting these brackets with the 6 1/2" speakers now. I just used some 1/2" mdf and dynmated around the speaker and the whole door.

I can make you a set if you want, it will not take me much time to copy my old ones. Not sure what shipping would be for me out of phoenix but we can probably make the ends meet if you want.
