hey guys my passanger front speaker on my 04 stang with a mach 460 system is torn from the sound of it. what do u guys think i sould replace them with. i like bass but i also like to understang my music too.

 

tweeter or woofer(top or bottom)?

Have you replaced the deck yet?

 

deck is stock and no it is deff the woofer the tweeter sounds fine.

dont want to spend all my money on sound and video i am going for preformance first i just want to get these speakers fixed cuz they are annoying

Since you still have the stock deck your options are limited to either a direct factory replacment, or to a few types of speakers that will work. The stock woofer is an 8 ohm speaker that will be hard to match. The closest thing I have really come across is a dual(not the brand) 4 ohm 6.5 inch woofer that parts express sells. You can get it and make a baffle to mount it and wire the coils in series.

If you replace the deck, you can put any speaker you want in ther door......

 

i dont want to replace the deck i like the clean look of my stock deck and it is already an "upgrade" from the factory so i like it. i guess ill get stock replacements. any idea of how much that would cost. and i guess i have to go to the dealer for that right.

 

I would check your local bone yard for old used set.
