That is a huge recipe for terrible sound.
With both 8 and 12 inch subs you will have a lot of slop in your lows due to the different suspension characteristics of each woofer's construction.
You can achieve any type of bass you want from a 12 inch woofer (clean and tight to loud and dirty). I see no reason whatsoever for both the 12 inch woofers and the bazooka 8's.

as he said mixing different sized of subs can be done but needs to be done carefully. Speakers of different sizes that play the same notes can cause cancelations and reduce sound. IT is also not recomended to mix different brands of subs as they are made differently and do not play the same notes the exact same way which can also lead to cancelations.
Yeah you were right, I pulled the 8's and the 400 watt amp out, made the overall sound sound alot better and Now i have a little bass to put in my 2000 stang. I was never aware before that 12's and 8's wouldnt mix well lol. Thanks. Any suggestions from here on what i could do to make my sound better?
By the way I saw the stupidest thing ever yesterday, this guy that goes to my school has some kinda lowrider truck, and he's got these like.. cage things on the OUTSIDE of his truck with 6x9s in it.. so everybody outside his truck can hear what he's listening to.. see any point in that?
