is there a car alarm with remote start. that works with a manual trans?

some shops do not like the liability of installing them but that is the best one out.

 

Yes really any directed eletronics alarms( they make viper,clifford,etc) will work with a manual trans. They all have a wire call the neutral safty, this wire gets hooked up to the neutral satfy wire on the trans. and will only let the car start if it is in neutral.

BUT it is very hard to find a shop to install remote start on a manual trans. bc if the liability with it(if you forget you left the car in gear, and you remote start it and the wire fails). The car will roll off and do some damage.

Unless your doing it yourself.

But if you go on the12volt forum, and do a search for remote start on manual trans. you will find alot of story about the car rolling off and hitting someone, or hitting a parked car.
