to install a new head unit in my car??

I have a 2001 V6 and looking to install this deck:

or does anyone know of a deck that allows me to control my subwoofer bass level seperate from my speaker basss level?

page 2 of my cardomain page covers the install, I think yours is the same.

Great deck and it has subwoofer outputs already. You will need a line driver to get the 4 volt outputs to a little higher level where the factory amps will be happy.

I hate best buy.

OWNED!

His car domain covers 93-00 mustangs with the mach systems, 01- 04 is alittle different. The only thing amped is the 4 mid-ranges. When you pull the stock deck out there will be 3 harness, rectanglar plug this runs the 4 tweeters and gives you power and ground, big spuare plug that you dont use and a smaller square plug that runs to the 2 amps that power the 4 mid-ranges. Just go to your install bay and ask for the ford mach 460 harness made by Metra sorry I forgot the model number.

And yes the amp turn on for the mach amps are a 4 volt turn on, so you will have step the voltage down.

You do have the mach system right? If not then I just wasted my time.

Congrats on an entry level job!

You are really setting overly exaggerated goals for Yourself already.

::thumbs up::

P.S. Why don't You get Your techs to install it for You at BB?

Yeah but any job is better then sitting on the forum all day and everyday giving out advice. People on here act like this forum is there job.

*Must pay well*

Entry level job when you young and going to college, you dont know how old or if they are in school or what? So that is kinda bold statement you made. You dont know what anyones goals outside of the forum are.

All you know from this thread is the guy works at best buy and wants to put a new headunit in thats it.

Yeah I can see how can conclude all this from this thread.

::::::::::::Thumbs Up:::::::::::::
