You should be able to do the job with less then 10 feet of wire. Make sure you get at least 4 gauge. If you want good wire for a good price, check out a local welding supply store, they should have 2 gauge oxygen free copper wire.
im getting all knukonceptz wire. im going to get 25ft. im guessing about 18ft from the front of my car to the trunk and that will leave me 8ft for the big 3. im getting 1/0 wire.
you will have problems with the size of the connection terminals for 1/0 on the alternator. I upgraded to a 200A and ran 4 awg to it and the terminal just barely fit. I show a little bit of it on my cardomain page, what year is yours?
any1 got any pics of what it might look like for a 04 Stang 3.8L V6? I wanna do one, but I've only done it to my 92 Camry it was fairly easy took a lot of wire though
I think I am the only one that has posted any pics of it on here that I have seen. If you want to figure out how much wire you would need, use a piece of string or a spare piece of wire to figure out the best way to run the wire and how much you will need.
