Default Which component set?

I'm looking at a component set for under 400. Two that I'm looking at is the Focal 165kf 6.5's and the DLS UP6i 6.5's. I'm most likely going to run them off a nine.2 or nine.2x.

I'll look into diamonds and hertz. Would the CDT EF-61 FG/ TW25 Pro components with a Cadence ZRS-1502 600watt 2ch amp be a good combo?

CDT makes good stuff they just always confused me as they have too many things that look the same and I am not big on the red and yellow colors. Never heard a bad thing about them just never had them infront of me to do an A - B comparison of the different types.

I'm running 5x7 Infinity Kappa components, powering them with 100 watts each, and they sound fantastic.

Yes.

Those EF's will eat up every bit of that 150 watts per channel. If you haven't purchased the amp yet, spring for the 200 X 2.

I have always found focals a little on the harsh side compared to DLS. If you like the laid back tweet on most DLS setups you should like the laid back sound of the CDT tweets.

Thanks for the replies. I was looking at the Cadence ZRS 2002 as well but I wasnt sure if it would be too much for the speakers. What do you think about the Cadence iA2? It's 150x2@4ohms and 250x2@2ohms. Also what brand/type amp kit should I purchase for one of these amps. I'm most likely going with the Cadence ZRS 200x2@4ohms and 400x2@2ohms.
