Default installation

Any tips on installation of speakers, amp and cd player in an older Stang? I have some Audiobahn 6x8s, a Legacy amp and a run-of-the-mill cd player...The wiring all looks like it wouldn't fit the newer equipment...maybe I should just shell out the dough and get a pro job?

do u have any know how at all about doing this? it is pretty simple as long as u know somewhat what u r doing. the toughest part will be wiring the cd player. you have to take out the factory amp which is behind ur tape deck in ur car, then you have to wire up your cd player.

get rid of the legacy amp their crap and most of them say their like 1000 watts! and they end up being like only 100.... trust me its a flea market brand, i installed one in my friends car and it sisnt power anything and it eventually blew when it did i unscrewed the amp and it had a plate that weighed about 5 lbs and the rest of the amp was garbage, take it back or sell it but dont power it to any of your speakers cuz it'll mess your system up, you should always have a pro installer install your stuff unless you know what your doing
