I'm in the market for a DD radio, but I have to stay with Kenwood - since I have a Kenwood Sirius Tuner and certainly don't want to have to buy another tuner.

I've done some reading on it, and it seems like a solid unit .. just wondering if anyone on here had one and may be able to tell me a bit more about it.

 

I would make sure your sirius tuner is compatable with it as it is not uncommon to change a harnes or something small to make it uncompatible

 

Yeah, I just looked up the DPX503 and took a look at the back of the unit ... looks like my tuner will work fine. I'm starting to lean towards the 503 over the 303 because of the USB jack in the front, instead of a wire coming from the back of the unit.

Take a look at the video - the guy set the unit to cycle through the colors so it would show what all it could do. Obviously I will have all of them set to blue.

Ordered the 503 from SonicElectronix ... but due to the holidays, it wont be in till next Tuesday.

Not sure when I will get around to the install ... but will post pics / video when I do.
