Need Help.
How can I make my stock subs work again? I have an aftermarket radio, the pos stock one kept reading cd error, got pissed and punched it. Short temper ftl.
Anyone have a link or a write up? or would be nice enough to walk me through.
I have 2 kenwood 12" subs in a pick up box, but i really don't wanna put those in. added weight ftl.
thanks for any help.

I am a little confused...... your deck had the usual cd loading err that you did as good a job as anyone can fixing. And now your stock subs are not working. Are you still using the stock deck? Have you checked any fuses?
Ok. my rear speakers aren't bassing. It's just pure trebble. I have aftermarket subs, but i don't want to add weight to the car.
So, I have an aftermarket head unit, with all the speakers working except for the bass on the rear speakers.
A fuse was blown but it has been replaced. All I'm trying to do is get my rear speakers to give bass.
Hope I made sense.

I used the rca outputs for the 12" subs and got it to work. but the stock rear ones, i can't seem to make them put out bass. I think i fugged up, cus i only spliced in on the back of the radio.
The bass is turned up also, but no bass is sounding. how can I get the stock rear speakers to put out bass? is there something else I have to splice in?
I'm keeping my subs choppa, sorry. If you are interested though, PM me.

it sounds like you were using the speaker outputs on the radio to power the amps for the factory subs? The rear tweeters are still working right? If you had a blown fuse then I would worry that something had shorted out but it will be hard to tell with out getting into the car and getting dirty.
it sounds like either a bad amp, or possibly bad speakers but I would lean towards the amp. It is hard to tell since there are no power lights on the amp to see if it is turning on. Just for kicks check to make sure that the connections on the amp are still good, it will be the one on the passenger side.
