you won't lose them reguardless of what hu you deside to use. that is if you use the the right wiring harness.

i put the avic 700 in my 03 similar system minues the dvd. there were some problems with the emergency brake cable but firmware fixed that and if your buying new it should already be fixed. just be sure to register it and the email you whenever there are updates and such for it. i'm assuming you have a mach system if you have stock amps, i did the install on a base system and didn't have any problems with the unit but installing just a head unit don't think u'll have any problems

page 2 of my cardomain page shows how to put a deck in a mach system. Crutchfield hopefully will have the correct hrns's but there is a pretty good chance that they will not. They are normally good about correcting it but that is the joy of ordering things. I would really suggest you check out your local dealer as the service they can provide on something with such a limited life is worth the extra few bucks they charge.

mach system will have 3 plugs instead of 1, not sure which one you have or how to wire as i don't have a mach in mine but someone with a mach i'm sure will lend some guidance

pull your radio out and look at the hrns's that are in there, or even better yet look at the plug that is in the back of the radio and the hrns you buy should look EXACTLY like the back of the radio.

IF you get the correct harness and IF wire it up correctly then you have nothing to worry about. Please not there are 2 IF's in that sentence which means there is at least 4 different ways it could go wrong.
