Default Keyless Entry Install on 87 GT help please!

Hey guys I'm working on installing my viper alarm in my 87Gt vert. I have installed an alarm before, my friend and I have gotten everything to work correctly save for the keyless entry this time. The alarm has two wires for the lock/unlock function. One is the (+)unlock/(-)lock and (+)lock/(-)unlock. This is the problem. Each wire supposedly is serving two purposes. I have popped the door lock button out of the door, and it has 5 wires behind it (for the lock/unlock button). One according to some wiring diagrams is a 12v constant, which is located in the middle. and two for each side (lock/unlock) I have tried tapping into every possible combination, but I may have messed some up (I was half *** trying). Do I split my two wires into 4? or where should I tap these two wires in? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot guys!

p.s.- I have tried the search button, but to no avail with my kind of problem
