On my old 2006 GT with the Shaker 500, when I pressed the "phone" button, the radio would mute and the radio would display "mute."

I bought a 2008 427R about a month ago that had a dealer-installed Bluetooth system hooked up to the Shaker 500. They removed it prior to my taking delivery (since they wanted to charge $475 for it). When I press the "phone" button, it reads "no phone" and not "mute" as the Shaker 500 in my 2006 GT did.

My question is, when they removed the Bluetooth mic and "head unit," did they leave in the harness, and is that why the radio reads "no phone?" I've been thinking about getting a Parrot CK3000 unit, and the Shaker 500 harness, but if there is a harness already installed...

What do you think is going on here? Also, should mention the radio has SiriusXM installed as well.

 

my 08 gt does the same thing as yours, and i never had bluetooth in it
