replacing mach 460 speakers
Mach amps bypassed?
If bypassed yes if not then no. Stock speakers are 8 ohms and most aftermarket speakers are 4 ohms.... I mean you can replace if youu havent bypassed the mach system but you will burn up the factory amps, so i wouldnt recommend it.

hmmm.....so you have a 4 ch amp along with the mach audio system? If you have a 4 ch amp, then( or i hope) the mach system has been bypassed....But then you had an aftermarket 4 ch. amp powering your stock speakers?
Ok lets start from the top you have an aftermarket HU. What else is in there?

wow this is hard..........
The factory woofers are an 8 ohm woofer. Any speaker you buy will be a 4 ohm, full range driver. The alpine radio can power this just fine, the factory amplifier cannot. So if you have bypassed the mach amps and have the speakers running off of the deck then yes you can replace them. If not you will need to bypass the factory amps or install your own and run wire. page 2 of my cardomain page shows how to bypass the amp.
