Default Component Sizes

I have a 99 w/ the base audio system. I installed a new HU and one of my rear components is blown. Im wondering what are the sizes of the speakers? 6x9 in the rear and 6x8 in the front or 6x9 all the way around?

What would be the best speakers to buy? I dont really want co-axials either. Also the factory amp has been bypassed(its not a Mach 460 but it still had an amp).

There is no such thing as the best speakers as everyones taste in music and in speakers will vary. Asking us to pick out your speakers would be like asking us to pick out pizza for you. Sure you will probably eat it as it is after all pizza but what are the chances I will pick the same one you like?

I would recomend going to a local shop and listening to every speaker they have. Take a cd you are familiar with to get the best results.

Your speaker size is 5 x 7 all around front and rear.

Ok sounds good. Would you reccomend me running an amp to the speakers or is that not necessary? I have a 300w JVC just sittin around taking up space.
