Default 2008 nav?

I have a 2008 GT with the shaker 500. I am thinking about selling my Pioneer AViC-D3 and getting a stock ford nav unit. what do i need to look for? i see many on ebay but am not sure of model # or what will work in my GT..

thanks..

Really I wouldnt know what all the different model #s mean. Call up the dealership and pretend you want to buy it from them and see if they will give you the model # of that unit....Isnt the factory nav unit big in size then the stock headunit? It looks like it but I could be mistaken.....But anyways I would never go back to stock....2 cents

If you go for a Ford nav unit, go for the 2009 (Sony) units. The interface was really revamped and modernized.

Not that earlier units were bad, but the previous units were based on the older AVIC interface with the gray tabs. Maps look exactly like the 2D Pioneer maps.
