is there anything special you would have to do to put a 4ch in a 08 mustang cause of all the factory amplifiers.

 

do you need to run the wires from the amp to each and ever speaker or is there a way to do it right behind the head unit.

 

give a list of all the equipment you are installing in the car. Be complete with model numbers as it will depend on what you are installing.

 

can tap behind the headunit if need be

 

The only thing amped in you car are the woofers in the doors if you have that......Factory hu powers the other 4 speakers. A 4 ch. be easy to put in, knowing the models of everything be great(just like ttocs said).

i not sure of the models i got a customer coming in. but we doing deck 4speakers 4ch, mono,and cap. i just rembering looking at the harness and its the one big white plug and has the other plug with the rca on it. i forgot what scosche harness it was but one of my other installers was worried cause of all the amps they have in them. im not sure if the car is shaker 500 or 1000 or no shaker at all

 

If it is just the shaker 500 there is one factory amp over and above the the drivers kick panel, but that is just for the woofers in the doors and the factory hu powers the other 4 speakers.... Other then that it is just like any other 4 ch. that you may have installed before...

 

if you are in a shop and working with customers then you know that we can't do anything for you when you don't give us anything to work with.

At this point all we can say is that IF it is a shaker system, it will have additional amps.

If I had a salesman book a car for an appointment like that and didn't know what was in the car I would yell at him and tell him to figure out how big a hole he dug himself into. For a full system like that you should know exactly what is in the car before you can agree on a price, before you can book the appointment. Tell your installer to smack you once for me, just hearing this reminds me of why I left installation......

Maybe they shouldnt be installing.....We will find out in a couple days if some with an 05 and up mustang comes in here with a problem with there 4 ch. We can just link them to this tread....
