Default Anyone have a Mach 1000 system?

I have been looking at the Mach 1000 system for my Saleen. I have seen it advertised for around $1300.00. Does anyone out there have this system and would it be worth that kind of money? Is there any tricks to the install or should it be done by professionals? Thanks in advance for the help.

it isnt the best system out there (it is a good oem system though) and for that kind of money, you can get a high quality aftermarket system.

yeah, if you want to keep a stock look then go for the 1000, otherwise you can get a really good brand name system for that much.

if you want my opinion, unless you find the oem system for pretty cheap installed,

i would go with an aftermarket system, like MTX or sumthing like that

i actually have an MTX amp and 2 ten inche subs if you want to buy them

Good advice from previous posters; you can get much more bang for the buck by going aftermarket. IMO

when you're spending like 20k on a car or more, what's another 1300 gonna matter?

Well its not the fact that it cost 1300 more, it's the fact that you can get a much much nicer system for 1300

Ive got a mach 1000 system and before i got my GT i had a jeep and i had two kicker comps and for the money i would go with somethin else because you could get a lot better system for 1300....my system in my jeep was a lot better than the mach 1000 and it only cost me about $500 so i would go with somethin else....goodluck

Thanks for all the info. Sure was hoping that the Mach was worth it. I just like the idea of having something look stock (an option). Looks like I will have to do some shopping on other systems. Thanks again all.
