Default speakers

I have the plain jane one CD stereo in my 09 mustang gt, what are some good sounding speakers that I can use to replace the originals with. I listen to about any type of music but mostly hard rock.

just go buy a shop and listen to what they have on display or find a couple of friends who have replaced theirs and have a listen. everyone has their own opinion to what they like and their brands that they like and dislike. with that said in my opinion look into RE Audio, to me they have the best sound all the way around. but this is me, i suggest for you to find some to listen to first before you buy.

check out some infinity kappa speakers ive been beating the crap out of them for a while and i havent had any problems with them yet. lol. if youre replacing the speakers id also say to def invest in a new headunit unless you got something special in your GT already. I changed my headunit before my speakers cause i was low on cash and it sounded twice as good with the stock speakers still in.

all depends on what u want to do, personally my favorite budget oriented setup (i do lots of installs)

would be the polk db571 coaxials for front and back
then as funds allow add a 5 channel or 4channel amp
infinity ref571a 5 channel amp to power speakers
then add a single 12" sub in the trunk
