Hi I m new and just purchased a 2005 gt conv with shaker 500
every now and then the cd player wont read the disc and spit it out as a bad disc.
Ive tried all cds in my collection some of which it played fine for the first few days now it says bad disc for all
any ideas?

 

I would go ahead and change the cd player, that seems to be a problem with most in-dash 6 disc units.

 

My '05 GT does the same thing, but only on discs that I've burned.
Store-bought discs are fine.

So I'm swapping head units now...
