Hey guys,

I have a 99 GT with the stock mach 460 system, it does not go loud enough, I heard that the stock head unit is very weak and does not put out much power. Will replacing my head unit fix this? I really would like to keep the factory door speakers and just add a head unit and sub if possible. I keep hearing different stories from different audio shops around here, I need a clear answer.

 

page 2 of my mustangs cardomain page shows how to put a deck into a mach system and it doesn't have to be that hard. We can get you through it and with a little tweeking you can be suprised by the mach system. I am not saying you will not eventually rip it out in search of something better but that is just what happens.
