Default Subs

I am thinking about putting 2 10" JL audio subs in my mustang but I am having some doubts. My friend has two 10" in his trunk and it makes this terrible rattling sound. I have seen show mustangs with the subs installed right behind the top of back seat where it folds down. Is that super expensive? Is there another alternative that I am missing?

Don't put them in your trunk, it may sound good inside but outside your car sounds cheap. I had two 10s in my old mustang and it sounded terrible from outside, my shaker 500 has plenty of bass for me now though.

Dynomat is one major brand and can be found just about anywhere car stereo installs are done, even think i've seen it at Best Buy. Online car audio sites like Critchfield is another option. Stuffs not cheap though..

setting subs in the backseat with out mounting them is a great way for you tunes to be the last thing going through your head if/when you have an accident. Besides making them an easy target for theives unless they are done right it looks as red-neck as 6 x 9 boxes in the back window.......

There are ways to fix rattles. You just have to find them first.

Yea a typo I fixed.

If you quote the area that I made fun of your "southern heritage" I might consider saying I am sorry.
