Default LED Halos in wifes car

We have the first LED halos made by Advanced Automotive Concepts. I installed them in the wife`s 09 Mustang along with their remote controll box that offers brightness control, auto dimming and flashing. I also added a little somethin sumethin to the headlights to in the way of color matching the little vents inside. Hope you enjoy , mama does !!!

Had some help from my son..

Cool little video of them in action...

I get them at a better price because I am an installer. I would have to find out a price. I know they do have the CCFL for the 05-09 Mustangs

The LEDs are very bright and the CCFL have a softer light. These are far superior to any other aftermarket halos !!!

Man that is pretty sweet! But you should have had that Louvered back bezel painted red instead of the back. I did not think to install halo rings when i pulled my lights apart to have that part painted blue. But by god i will never pull them apart again unless i am forced to. It was a pain!! About a year ago i had to pull another one apart because a deer destroyed my driver side light. I have got to say, Ford must have changed the glue that held them together because that light was considerably harder to pull apart then the originals!

anyway cool mod I love the strobe pattern. How did you remove the lens from the housing. I used a heat gun and a variate of flat head screw drivers slowly prying it apart. But even then i took me at lest 45min to a hour per light.

Bake them in the oven to take them apart.

Ya the adhesive is totally different from the earlyer models to the newer models.

I charge 100 bux to install them in the headlight buckets.

Scheetz - I wanted to color match the outside part but momma said no so I went this route.

Thanx guys

The red back ground does have a nice effect just seems to get lost a litte. I was polishing and waxing the car for the winter and had noticed on the original light the Black dome that goes over the bulb is beginning to peels. Not sure why the Paint would start to blister and peel on that. The only thing i can think is i have those Clear plastic stickon protectors and maybe that is reflecting the heat back on to that dome. Any why again cool mod, I might have to do that next year... being i will have to pull that light apart
