Default shaker questions

Well, the screen on the shaker 500 in my wifes car is cracked, and it bugs her. Nothing is broken, screen works fine, it's just the clear plastic over the lcd screen. Has anyone ever replaced just the plastic? Or if someone has upgraded their stereo, and has a shaker 500 or 1000 that they want to part with? Maybe someone fried there stereo, and I could try to swap out the broken screen... I'm going to check Craigslist for shakers, we would go aftermarket but she wants the 6 disc changer, and doesn't care about new subwoofers or better sound or anything.

You can always go with some what along the lines of replaceing the stock unit for a aftermarket unit.
as a car audio shop in sarasota, fl we have installed many of these units take a look at this unit http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...N/AVH-P6000DVD

Good luck

If he had a scratch on his motor, would you recomend replacing it too?

This would probably have to be done through your dealership unfortunatly. You might be able to get it done through warrenty if it is still good but maybe you should just have your wife stop going to get her nails done? Sounds like they are too long and strong...

Eh, nevermind, nails have their uses don't they?

Humm guess you didnt read the last of his first post?

HE WOULD GO AFTERMARKET but wants 6DISC...
I never said replace it just because of the scratch...! I offered him/showed him a aftermarket peice that would fit what he is looking for AS A AFTERMARKET peice.
